I actually just saw this on Facebook, in direct response to someone expressing their total dissatisfaction with Obama, suggesting that he should get out of office and that we should return to where we’ve come from:
“When I get a job…. then he might be able to come back. keyword might.”
This statement sums up the fundamental problem with our generation: a sense of entitlement. This kid is suggesting that it’s Obama’s responsibility to get him a job. Someone living and working almost two thousand miles away is responsible for getting this kid a job.
I realize the job market has shrunken considerably but the reason this kid doesn’t have a job has nothing to do with Obama. It has everything to do with this kid’s sense of entitlement. He’s an American. He is owed a job. When he doesn’t have one, it’s the fault of someone else.
Guess what? While you little bitches cry about not having a job because you think you’re owed one, there is an army of Indians coming out of institutions of higher education. They are polite, educated, cheap and HUNGRY. They want your job. They want your car. They want your lifestyle.
The only difference between you and them is that they want it… so they’re going to take it. They will outwork you, be happier doing it, and do it for far less. What the fuck do you think the outcome is going to be? It’s not going to be you having a job, that’s for sure. Will that be Obama’s fault? No it will be your fault for spending your days crying like a little bitch that you don’t have what you’re owed.
This has nothing to do with partisan politics. It has everything to do with globalization, and the motivation of hundreds of millions of people across the world who are becoming more empowered every day; people who don’t believe in the right to American entitlement.
